Students will progressively proceed through the provided material with the help of three popular free third-party software tools and three more specialized GUIs. These GUIs allow deeper focus on specific Semantic-Web related technologies and offer a more specialized or, in some cases, more extended functionality than the suggested third-party tools. These applications do not cover separate teaching time, but are supplementary in the teaching process and complement specific Lab Assignments and Tutorial tasks.
Note that the Java source code of the GUIs is also provided and extensively documented. This way, learners can freely study it, extended it and - possibly - embed it in their applications.
